Walking Along the Edge of the Cliff

Abstract

Lately, it has become common to hear economists, politicians, journalists, and other actors refer to a current economic crisis, but is there evidence to support that assertion? Or are we on the verge of a crisis like that of 2009? To answer these questions, we must necessarily be able to correctly compare the fundamental variables of the Chilean economy and their determinants (external and internal), and not rely solely on the perception of some economic agents.
