Macroeconomic Projections for 2008: Few Expectations of Growth and a Difficult Inflation Outlook

Abstract

During 2008, the Central Bank of Chile will have to live up to its anti-inflationary policy and raise interest rates. There is no other way to keep the inflation target at around three percent. And strictly speaking, neither should we take comfort in growth like that of previous years.
