After more than a year of debate and the rejection of two important points by the Constitutional Court (TC), the labor reform appears close to being enacted. In general terms, the reform aims to strengthen unions by creating legal incentives for greater union membership. The two points that cannot be introduced because of the TC's rejection, which were considered central to the reform, are exclusive union bargaining rights (titularidad sindical) and the extension of benefits.
