        Abstract

        It is well known that the energy sector, and specifically the electricity market, has gone through a very difficult period in recent years. This reality has manifested itself in high prices—both in the spot market (for instantaneous transfers) and in the contract market—and in delays in the development of new investment projects. High prices not only affect the country's development, reducing our capacity for growth and job creation, but also have a direct impact on people's lives through higher household electricity bills.
